The continuing economic downturn has seriously damaged the concept of bank credit and the credibility of lenders and borrowers. In this context, the National Bank of Greece has developed a Borrower Loan Program in 2016, aiming to create an environment of co-operation with borrowers who were unable to meet their financial obligations.
The “Sofa” campaign was based on the idea that weights can be lifted much easier when you share them. With the central message “Together we will find the solution,” the ad managed to induce 220,000 borrowers to overcome any hesitation and address to the National Bank to find a solution for their loan.
In the summer of 2018, the topic of Borrower’s Support came back to the news and the “Balloon” campaign was the new call to National Bank’s customers. By creating another symbolic film, we managed to highlight not only the problem, but also all the solutions that borrowers can find in the National Bank of Greece.
