To showcase the benefits of National Bank’s Mastercard, in a way compatible with the era.
In the midst of the economic crisis in Greece, credit and debit cards became the “necessary evil”. On the one hand, capital controls increased their use, on the other hand the difficulty in repayment was serious. The glamor that previously enveloped the possession of cards was lost. Considering this challenging situation, we were invited to highlight the incentives introduced by the National Bank of Greece (rewarding and tax-free) for Mastercard. Thus, the ad “Reward” was created; an ad that, through the moving story of a dog, we communicated the values of giving and receiving back. Rapidly the spot became viral both in Greece and abroad, gaining the attention of the audience. In quantitative research measurements, the advertising spot came first in the preferences of the respondents, scoring extremely high in recognizability and likeability.
